Advisory
Consulate Ceases Translation Services
In order to prioritize the vital need of the Consulate’s Assistance to Nationals for translators to be able to perform its mandate under Republic Act 8042, known as the “Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995", the Consular Section will no longer provide translation services for any consular documents including driver licenses, marriage contracts, diplomas and school records, etc., consistent with the practice of other Philippine Embassies & Consulates, STARTING ON 14 JUNE 2009.
All those who require translation of documents may avail of the services of professional translation offices WHICH are accredited with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI) and the Saudi MFA. A list of translation offices is available upon request.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Jeddah, 31 May 2008.
