The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah would like to inform all Filipino citizens requesting for a negative certification from the National Statistics Office in Manila that the said office does not issue a NEGATIVE CERTIFICATION for births of persons who have copies of their birth certificates from NSO records; this is notwithstanding the fact that there may be discrepancies or inconsistencies in the said records.

Hence, the said certification is issued only in cases where the birth certificate of the person does not exist in NSO records.
