With the implementation of the ePassport System on 1 July 2010, the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah informs all Filipino citizens and the general public of the following guidelines in applying for the ePassport:
Getting an appointment and preparing requirements:
- Applicants can get an ePassport application form, either from the Consulate General or its website at www.pcgjeddah.org, accomplish the form and prepare all requirements. [the form is being updated, but for the time being you can download the application form from the DFA website]
- Applicants must get an appointment with the Consular Section at least 3 days before their intended date of appointment at:

- Applicants will receive a confirmation of their appointment by SMS and may check the same at the above website. Unconfirmed appointments would mean that the applicant must make another appointment. Confirmed appointments are deemed final and cannot be changed suddenly.
During the appointment:
- Applicants must be in decent attire and must also be well groomed.
- Applicants should plan to arrive at the Consulate General at least 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment.
- All ePassport appointments are accommodated starting from 8:40 a.m. onwards.
- Applicants should bring their duly accomplished ePassport application form together with all requirements and have them checked by the Consular Assistant in charge of ePassport Appointments.
- Upon arrival, all applicants should see the Consular Assistant in charge of ePassport Appointments to sign the appointment logbook.
- Applicants for passports renewal will be instructed to proceed to Enrolment after their supporting documents are checked accordingly.
- First-time/new passport applicants and applicants for lost passports must have their documents pre-processed at the Receiving Counter (Window 3).
Enrolment: Encoding and Data Capturing
The Consular Assistant in charge of ePassport Enrolment will encode the applicant’s data and capture biometrics, specifically, the applicant’s photo, thumbprints and signature.
Payment
Applicants should pay the required amount to the Cashier, as follows:
- Renewal of Passport SR240.00
- New Passport SR340.00
- Replacement/Lost Passport SR700.00
Receiving your new e-Passport:
Applicants should return to the Consulate General after at least 30 working days or on the date stamped on their official receipt.

To receive their passports, applicants may proceed to the Releasing Section, present their receipts and old passport for cancellation.
All walk-in applicants will only be accommodated when there is a vacant slot in between appointments or after all applicants who appeared for their appointments have been served. Walk-in applicants will be assigned a number and will be informed when they can be accommodated accordingly.

Requirements for Renewal of Philippine Passport:
- Personal appearance
- Duly-accomplished Passport Application Form
- Must present the original old Passport with photocopy of first and last pages.
- Fee: SR240.00
Requirements for the Issuance of a New Passport for Children Born in the Kingdom:
- Personal appearance
- Duly accomplished Passport Application Form
- Original Birth Certificate duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, KSA (translated into English and photocopies of the Arabic Birth Certificate and the English translation.
- Marriage Contract of parents duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila if solemnized in the Philippines or by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if solemnized in Saudi Arabia (with English translation)
- Photocopy of parents’ passports (pages 1 and 33 or 44), two (2) copies
- Duly accomplished Report of Birth Form, one (1) copy
- Duly accomplished Birth Description Form, one (1) copy
- Fee: SR340.00
- Please note requirements for Reports of Birth and other support documents for a New Passport for children born in Saudi Arabia
Replacement of Lost Passport:
- Personal appearance
- Duly accomplished Passport Application Form
- Photocopy of lost Philippine passport.
- 15-day waiting period to allow issuance verification from Manila or the appropriate place of issuance if not issued by PCG Jeddah
- Police Report on the loss of the passport and its translation into English.
- Photocopy of the newspaper publication reporting the loss of the passport and its translation into English.
- Two (2) copies of the Affidavit of Loss.
- Fee: SR500.00 (if lost passport was issued in Jeddah)
- Fee: SR580.00 (if lost passport was issued in Manila)
Duration: Around Thirty (30) working days from date of application. (For confirmation if your new passport is already available within the period you may send a text message (SMS) to 055219614. Please indicate your full name and date of application.)
Report of Birth
*6 sets of the following (1 original and 5 photocopies)
- Duly accomplished Report of Birth Form
- Duly accomplished Birth Description Form
- Birth Certificate from local civil registrar with English translation from duly accredited translation offices
- Birth Certificate from hospital
- Marriage Contract of parents duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila if solemnized in the Philippines or by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if solemnized in Saudi Arabia (with English translation)
- Notarized Affidavit of Paternity executed by the Father, if unmarried
- In the absence of a Birth Certificate from local civil registrar:
- Joint Affidavit of Parents,
- Affidavit of two (2) disinterested persons
- Translated Birth Certificate from hospital
- Passport copy of parents
- Fee: S.R. 100.00
Legitimation
*6 sets of the following (1 original and 5 photocopies)
- Duly authenticated Marriage Contract of Parents
- Original Report of Birth of child to be annotated by Consulate
- Passport copy of parents
- Fee: S.R. 200.00
Acknowledgment of Paternity
