The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah stresses to all Filipino citizens who are holders of GREEN, NON-MACHINE READABLE READY PASSPORTS, that such passport issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila and Foreign Service Posts abroad are considered valid until their date of expiration and shall continue to be recognized by the international community.
More specifically, the green non-machine readable passports issued before the deadline set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which is 1 April 2010, are valid until their expiration.
