The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh reiterates the statement issued on 06 March 2011 by the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia that “…the applicable laws in the Kingdom strictly prohibit all forms of demonstrations, marches and sit-ins and any call for such actions.”

All Filipinos in the Kingdom are advised to comply with the Ministry’s statement, which is attached, and to observe all other laws, rules and regulations of the Kingdom.

In general, the Embassy advises Filipinos to be alert of their surroundings, avoid crowds, and unnecessary movement especially during the weekend.
